Fellowships won in 2019 in the School of Science

  • Kaimosi Friends University College through Dr. Annette Busula are going to host Salisbury University-Maryland through partnership with Prof. Fulbert Namwamba. This has been made possible through Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program.   • Dr. Victor Shikuku in the Department of Physical Sciences had a successful exchange program at the CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory-India for three (3) months (December 2017 to March 2018) following the award of the prestigious C.V. Raman International Fellowship for African Researchers. He gained vital teaching, training and cutting-edge research opportunities in areas spanning across material chemistry, chemical instrumentation and application of magneto-responsive material for removal of pollutants from water in collaboration with Prof. Trilochan Mishra of CSIR-NML
  • Dr. Victor Shikuku in the Department of Physical Sciences had a successful postdoctoral fellowship program at the University of Trier, Germany for six (6) months (July 2019 to December 2019) following the award of the Alexander Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship. The research project was in collaboration with Prof. Zachary Getenga of Machakos University (Kenya) and Prof. Thiele-Bruhn Sören of Trier University.
