The Master of Science (M.Sc.) programme in Pure Mathematics is intended to produce graduates whose areas of specialization are broad enough to carry out research and, participate in national and international endeavors and disseminate knowledge through teaching.

The program aims to equip the learners with a broad knowledge in advanced mathematics and provide an exposure to the use of mathematics in other disciplines. The programme is intended to prepare graduate with skills to carry out research in their respective areas of specialization and to take up employment in public and private sectors of national and international spheres. The programme also seeks to prepare students for lifelong learning experience by integrating technological advancements into mathematics for addressing present and future challenges.
